Fun To Be A Kid Again!
OMG! This scooter is so much fun! Forget the kids, this is mine. LOL. Really though, I took it for a ride first around my block and it has a good zip to it. I also felt like the foot area was wide enough and sturdy enough to hold me and not make me fall. I love the on screen display of showing how fast I was going, did not want to get a ticket you know! But it definitely felt faster than 15mph. I then took it for a 5 minute ride to the grocery store, and found it very convenient, especially with the fold up ability. I was able to fold it up and just put it inside the shopping cart while I shopped. No need to waste gas anymore if I need to go to the store for something. I love this scooter!
I love this scooter. I have never owned one or riden one before but they always looked like a lot of fun and very convenient. Both are very true, I enjoy taking it out for a ride, I keep in my car at all times, great for riding around the city, or beach, or if your a student for campus use. The foldability is awesome, and it's not heavy at all. I do wish the battery lasted longer but it's not going to deter me away at all, it's what you would expect out of something like this. The led light on the front is very cool as well, it's a very nice looking scooter. 5 star all day.
Fun, but has limitations
First off, the scooter is super fun and has great features such as the head and tail lights. While the top speed is rated at 15mph, it's tough to get above 10-12 mph on even the slightest incline. Also, the 10 mile range is optimistic. I think most will be lucky to get 5-6 miles out of a single charge. The weight of the rider heavily influences speed and range. If you're over about 180lbs I wouldn't recommend this scooter. Good thing the charger is fairly small so it could be packed in a bag and recharged easily. The scooter itself folds and it fairly light and portable. I think this scooter is best suited if you are under 180lbs and plan to ride it less than 5 miles between charges on very flat roads.
Holy moly is this thing great! I absolutely love this scooter. It's got so much zip, yet rides super stable. I love the fact that it folds in half, making carrying it really easy and convenient. It charges really quickly and holds a charge for a pretty long time. This thing is so perfect for commuting or even just scooting around the neighborhood.
Reliable Scooter for Casual User
Got the Jetson element electric scooter recently and been able to use it to commute to work for a few days. Work is approximately 10 miles from where I live. There is a bit of steep learning curve but once I got the hang of it, it was a smooth ride. It goes up to 15 mph and can go about 12 miles on a single charge. There is an indicator that tells you how much battery is left. I had to recharge it when I get to work. For safety, it has LED indicators that do help if ride at night. I love how it folds up to fit any tight space. I do wish that it could go a bit faster than 15 mph and I can recommend this for casual user.
