About the Role:

The Key Account Executive will be a key member of the growing Sales team. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Manage existing key account relationships

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities

  • Developing strategic sales plans based on Jetson’s goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for Jetson

  • Assisting to establish the sales targets to meet Jetson’s objectives

  • Analyzing the market to identify trends and take advantage of opportunities. Provide leadership team with ongoing feedback about competition and collection performance

  • Ensuring the company's financial objectives are optimized

  • Presenting sales reports and other internal intelligence to all necessary departments

  • Designing sales proposals and presentations for potential retailer partners

  • Meeting with buyers in order to build relationships and gain their support

  • Solving issues that arise during execution in order to eliminate barriers

  • Visioning and strategic thinking to anticipate future needs and recommend business building ideas

  • Preparing business plans for specific retailers in order to forecast volume, revenue, and expenses

  • Attending trade shows as needed to promote and sell Jetson products

  • Ability to travel (30%-50%) to customers, trade shows, and company meetings (when a vaccine becomes available)

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Undergraduate degree and 3+ years of retail sales experience in the consumer products industry with experience selling to retailers like Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Amazon, etc.

    • Understand forecasting and supply chain and be able to work with your customers and Jetson personnel on executing this

    • Comfortable managing tight deadlines and meeting aggressive sales goals andexpectations

    • Proven track record of generating new business and retaining clients

    • Strong technical aptitude and interest in technology and/or electronics

    • Excellent problem solving, organizational, and tactical skills

    • Incredible degree of patience and ability to think clearly and strategically in ambiguous situations

    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

    • Entrepreneurial mindset – you’re a self-starter and drive things to conclusion

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to a process
