About the Role:

The Key Account Manager will be a key member of the growing Operations team. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Order management – ensuring accuracy in all orders received via EDI or manually entered and seeing them through completion with the warehouse (shipped on time, in full, in compliance with all customer requirements)

  • Setting up accounts and items for new retail partners

  • Fully understanding the terms and requirements for each account, including payment terms, routing instructions, and compliance requirements

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with multiple 3PLs and customers

  • Working closely with warehouse on prioritizing shipments based on different customer’s deadlines

  • Partnering with Production to track incoming shipments for order fulfillment

  • Partnering with Sales to advise on any shortages, stock unavailability, incorrect order info, etc.

  • Partnering with Inventory Planner on allocation for all dropship customers

  • Analyzing open orders to ensure all are being processed and to identify any at-risk orders to escalate to Leadership

  • Working closely with AR Accountant on chargebacks

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Undergraduate degree and 4+ years of account management and/or sales administration experience with big-box retailers such as Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Costco, etc.

    • Warehousing and logistics experience is a major plus

    • Understanding of EDI and ERP systems

    • Adept in Microsoft Excel and ability to understand and modify complex spreadsheets

    • Excellent problem solving, organizational, process-development, attention to detail and tactical skills

    • Incredible degree of patience and ability to think clearly and strategically in ambiguous situations

    • Exceptional communication, time management and interpersonal skills
