My honest and true review of the scooter
So I’ve been using the scooter for a short time had no issues with the tire in the back but before I go any further I am a man who weighs 210 pounds and remember the scooter should be able to handle up to the 260 and where I live there’s no hills it’s all sidewalks. So what I wanna say is the scooter does not do what it says on the box or as advertised I can only get it going up to 11. to 12 mph and the battery only last for like 2.6 miles it does take three hours to charge as it states it can handle me pretty well Weight wise! It does have an app that works with it but it takes a while to figure it out but when it does it’ll tell you everything about the scooter you can change the lights on or off low or high but you can’t change the colors as I noticed YouTube When they talk about the Beam/L8 which is there other version of a scooter and another country call differences on their app you’re able to change the colors of the light and what it does I was hoping this would be able to same thing two. Besides that the scooter seem like it could be a really good scooter for commuting if you had a better battery And if they would be honest about their product they advertise so you would know what you’re getting would I buy this scooter again knowing what I do know now NO! But is there room for improvement on the scooter definitely but overall they had a good idea they just didn’t stay true to their products even if I got Let say Half the distance that they say it does I would be happy with that! but I get 2.6 miles that is not that great And that’s with all the lights turned off! so really you’re getting 2.3 miles because after that your speed really slows down before it gets to a dead stop anyways I hope I put some thought into your head before purchasing this product hopefully they post my message review!
overall the scooter is very wonderful and it helps me bc I can just ride right into town with it but the only bad problem with it is that the back tire it comes with after riding like 8 times it brakes then you have to buy a whole new tire that is supposively is a lot better but the tire is always out of stock. Like I said it is very great thing overall but the back tire problem needs to be fixed so people don't have to always spend new money on a new tire.
Jetson Beam -- Awesome! (when it works)...
I love my Jetson Beam scooter, most of the time. I use it on a college campus to get around between classes, which has exponentially improved my commute from a 30-min-walk each way on foot to a 7-minute-ride saving me lots of time in the mornings! However, the only (and most upsetting) downfall is the back tire. I weigh around 135 lbs (nowhere near the max weight limit) and ride it only about 2-4 miles per day, but somehow am going through about 1 TIRE PER WEEK. I'm currently waiting on the second replacement tire shipment, which fortunately Jetson is very helpful and quick with, but I can't help but be disappointed at spending hundreds of dollars on a scooter that I can't depend on. I would recommend (and already have) this scooter to friends and family in a heartbeat......after they restock the solid tire or figure out why the back tires keep deflating!
Beam Folding Electric Scooter
This scooter is amazing. My daughter absolutely loves it and is on it from morning to nighttime. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone interested in this type of product.
Quiet and Great Customer Service
Purchased a BEAM unit for our office and to commute to work each day. 1 mile. Works extremely well, super quiet and smooth. You might need a bell approaching pedestrians because they will not hear you. The electric breaking works quick. My colleagues were blown away actually seeing and riding the unit. Another feature you have multiple adjustments for bar height and width. Only Con- Back wheel. I would recommend ordering the solid wheel right away. SOLUTION- Customer service was great and provided me a new tire until the new solid wheel is available. Exceptional Support. Reason I wrote this review today. They know the issue and have addressed it.
